Why agent comparisons should test complex form accuracy and recoverability, not feature counts: Score agents on grounded answers, explicit uncertainty and task recovery before claiming one is best.. Buyers will trust agent workflows that prove sources, tool boundaries, validation, and recovery. getagentiq.ai
AI can produce a convincing answer in seconds. Can it help produce a finding that someone else can reproduce?
That distinction matters in research. A summary can be useful, but a repeatable result needs more: the question asked, the source material, the method, the intermediate steps, and a record of what changed when the work was checked.
Consider a team reviewing a newly published paper. An AI system might extract the stated hypothesis, identify the dataset and methods, list limitations noted by the authors, and draft questions for a human reviewer. None of those steps proves the paper's conclusion. They make the review easier to inspect.
The same discipline applies when comparing OpenClaw, Hermes Agent, Grok Bot, Meta Muse and ChatGPT Dots for a research workflow. Give each the same paper and the same task. Ask each to separate direct quotations from interpretation, link claims to the supplied source, flag missing information and preserve a review trail. Record what is actually demonstrated; where public details are limited, leave the capability unverified.
Then test the difficult cases:
• Does it say “I don't know” when a method isn't described?
• Does it distinguish a preprint from peer-reviewed work?
• Can a reviewer trace every important claim back to a source?
• Will it correct a mistaken extraction without quietly rewriting the record?
The result is not a leaderboard for the most fluent paragraph. It is evidence about which workflow helps a human ask better questions and catch errors sooner.
In science, an answer is the start of scrutiny—not the end. AI systems should make that scrutiny easier, more visible and more repeatable.
